2003
In the third
and fourth quarters, we modified standard Oracle reports for the Consolidated
Invoice and the Batch Pick List to meet client requirements. Modified
a custom Concurrent Manager invoice print process to handle installment
invoices. Developed a method to send an email message of an Oracle Report
as a file attachment utilizing the UTL_SMTP package directly from the
execution of a Concurrent Manager job. Implemented methods to drive
development solutions via defined requirements. Provided advice on what
EDI transactions are available for use (out of the box) in the EDI Gateway,
on the next upgrade for the Gentran Server, and on what steps to do
in order to implement the XML Gateway.
In the second quarter, we
provided training in the set up and configuration of 9ias release 2
and set up use of Oracle Portal Release 2 for a client. We set up the
training environment on Linux Red Hat 8 and Windows 2000 Server.
In the first
quarter (Jan - Mar), we developed two web sites for a client in NYC
to display leather accessory product lines for buyers.

2002
In december,
we assisted a new client in implementing 850, 810, and 855 transactions
in an Oracle Applications 11i upgrade effort.
The past
year (2001-2002) we were extensively involved in designing and developing
XMLand EDI transactions in Europe and EDIFACT messages in Japan for
use in an Oracle Applications 11i environment in a UTF8 database. For
the European client, we developed ORDERS and INVOICE XML transactions
and assisted in the implementation of 850 and 810 EDI transactions and
ORDERS amd INVOIC messages. For a Japanese client, we re-designed and
developed ORDERS, ORDCHG, DESADV, and ORDRSP EDIFACT messages, and an
850 EDI transaction and engineered a process to move data in EBCDIC,
SJIS, and New-JIS to the target UTF8 database.
We are currently
engaged in developing two open source projects:
VTrack:
Application to keep track of software vendors.
ODDS (Object
Database Developement System) - "May the ODDS be With You!": Application
to develop objects for Oracle databases.
We are also
working on the expansion of this Web site. In the near future, we hope
to have a search engine ready to find software and the best prices for
them. In addition to this, we are planning to build an on-line store
to sell software. So, stay tuned!
